Role of Perfect Living Master

Chicago (IL), Part 4 of 4

Video Description: Ishwar Ji “explains role of the Perfect Living Masters and other gurus. The difference between the spirit (soul) and the mind, astral body, sensory perceptions. Soul – individuated consciousness – is our reality, mind is just accessory to the Soul.” He talks about value of a LIVING Master and how they are born in different parts of the world to pick up marked-souls and take us back home.

He provides an explanation on the function of mind, how its an accessory added to soul; its primary support to the soul is to help soul communicate. Soul is pure light whereas mind has desires, attachments. He uses Greek philosopher Aristotle as an example to describe about illusions and how mind has creativity to turn a show into reality experience. We have identified ourselves with our mind and not soul. PLM says go within yourself. He goes through the cute story of Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer and correlated with Lord Jesus Christ’s crucifixion. PLM do not come here to change political beliefs or system or teach but simply to take us back home. There are only handful number of PLMs. How to find a PLM…a genuine desire to seek. But we cannot find a master…but series of coincidences in our life will have us find a person that happens to be the PLM. Mind always doubts…skepticism is built into the mind due to fear…it comes in the way. To overcome them, it takes time but the method PLM use is go along with you and try to answer the questions. Then you feel that human being has kind of Love that is extraordinary…its unconditional. Then eventually faith is built upon Love we are experience. Law of Karma keeps us trapped here. He talked about Lord Krishna in this discourse where he is speaking to his friend Udho in farm about law of karma where pointing to an ant.

PLM has consciousness of all levels at all times 24/7. PLM see you in your totality and he in his totality and there is no difference between the both. Initiation changes everything from that moment….one is no longer bound with the law of karma. PLM and disciple are the best friend…no real friendship like that. Dr. Isher Singh mentioned PLM becomes a friend first and Master next. Master engage in activities which match the activities of a disciple therefore they become friends.

At the end he talks about one of his favorite song “Jo Mange Thakur” and its meaning. A devotee sings the song with him smiling and looking happy. Then he jokes about food at the back people waiting for that ๐Ÿ™‚ He gave a tip on how to have delicious food without adding weight ๐Ÿ™‚ He shares a story about a man looking to find a soulmate but couldn’t find one.
