Video Description: GM often quoted Bulleh Shah a poet and a mystic. Spiritual path can be described in one word…LOVE. All the rest is just made up for the sake of our minds. Love is the Real answer no matter what the question is, it is all our answer for our prayer. Meditation of stubbornness (hathya yoga)…do not give up…meditation all their lives they got nothing…it was just a struggle with their mind and body but not involving heart or soul of a person. Love needs no training it belongs to our soul and our heart. Love pulls us without any effort, its part of our own reality. PLM comes to help us out….their method is to pull up with their love. Mind want to grasp steps in order to know what spiritual path is. Love is subject beyond the mind.

Consciousnesses coming from space where there is no reason, space or time. It is where our true home is…it lies beyond logic. PLM are constantly in touch with our true home. They have no other intention (not to reform the world), or to write books, or setup a religion (there are too many religions already) but to pick up marked souls. Mind is a great accessory provided to us to use…we create time, space, event, past-present-future, karma, cause-effect, language, communicate, to think etc. Mind when it thinks, we forget what mind thinks is within our control! We allow mind to think randomly. We should be able to direct the mind. We should be in control of the mind, we are not slaves of the mind. One big blunder we made in course of evolution…it was to think we are the mind! Force mind to think of good, positive things…with practice (that’s the catch) as part of meditation to separate yourself from the mind and we are consciousness…we can train/ direct the mind to think we like. There is a little catch to this…we have to use the same mind to do what we want to do! The soul does not think it has mind to think…therefore even the thought to think mind to think certain way…we have to use the mind to instruct itself but CONTROL should be ours…control comes from WILL, which belongs to consciousness…we call it the Will of God 🙂 Story on a friend of Ishwar who loved understanding whether we have free will or not who was invited by Ishwar Ji for coffee or tea to understand whether we have free will or not 🙂 How do we correlate law-of-karma and free-will…answer to that is…like your free will is an illusion due to lack of knowledge…karma is also an illusion due to lack of knowledge. We make up karma same way as free-will. Karma is suffered and enjoyed by creative mind not by soul…remember we are not the mind. When we transcend the mind we realize we just put up the show for experience.

Purpose of life is to have experience.

They say man is made in the image of the creator. This means that creator has a will to create and create whatever it wills and we think we have the same kind of will and we have the illusion of free will. He explains analogy of dream and reality.

Knowledge and awareness are also explained. When we wake up from our dream we know it was a dream. If you say its a dream while dreaming its part of the dream.

Ishwar talked about PPF- Past, Present and Future. Past is in memories…without memories there is no past. We began to call immediate past present…it is still past. If there is no present…can past exist? And past is a memory. Hope, Fear and Anticipation are way to look forward to future…all these 3 functions require time. Therefore they cannot happen in the present and requires past. Whatever we experience is a replay through memory. He mentions that cute story of The Batras and correlated to the concept of ‘free will’ and how we could be regarded as time-travelers. 🙂 He also shared a story of naive people confusing shadow as monsters. Disciple of Plato, Aristotle, referred to a phenomenon “Willing Suspension of Disbelief”. Tragedy is best drama which Aristotle stated brings Catharsis of excess emotions. He also uses example of Canterbury Tales. We are all one but do we experience it? The purpose of free will is to discover who we are. Never have blind faith…only believe what you experience.
