Too much expectation destroys meditation. Do service (aka seva in Hindi) for your beloved, friend or for anyone…without expecting any reward…it prepares one better for meditation…in fact it is a form of meditation. Three kinds of services- Body, Money and Mind. He talked about dirt-service (aka mitti-seva in Hindi). He talked about eccentric Baluchistan’s Mastana. He mentioned about 3rd April 2012 being start date for work on the Dera. Its a secret wish of Baba Ji he shared his thoughts of the dera. He talked about 2012 being a year of great change…we turning into a new era.

He talked about establishing in the six-floor middle of the eye and imagine our beloved “…keep your eyes closed till I count till 5….” ❤ He discouraged on dry-meditation where mind roams around everywhere but not focus on 3rd eye center. He talks about sounds during meditation. He talked about practice sounds (like river is flowing, train is going, truck is passing, thunderstorm, drums beating rapidly…) we can use them for concentrating being behind the eyes. Self by manifesting itself…to listen to it…follow it…we can open up all the doors to any level of consciousness. Surat Shabd Yoga has been found very useful. Listening to the sound within can be enabled if meditation is carried out with Love and Devotion.

He shared story of Hira Singh who was a very devoted disciple of Sawan Singh Ji. Mr. Singh asked Ishwar Ji some questions about spiritual advancements. Mr. Singh made incredible progress after response from Baba Ji. He made more progress in just 6 months than he did in 40 years!

Don't repeat words like a parrot 🦜 is just a mechanical exercise but will not help spiritually...spirit needs your love and devotion.

Someone asked Baba Ji to write a chapter in a book and Baba Ji’s response was incredible…if we understand Love we will understand spirituality. He talked about gurmukh- a follower…his love for his beloved is unconditional as no judgement involved in it…judgement spoils Love & Devotion. He shares beautiful techniques of meditation…starting with 1 minute a day …then 2 minute…then 3minutes…if that becomes difficult return back to 2 minutes and continue until you began to enjoy meditation.

Close to the end of the video, he shared a really comically story of a friend of his in California who meditated at 3am in the morning 😂 A PLM does not come here to teach…he or she is there to be a friend of us…a forever friend…Isher Singh used to say PLM is our friend first and Master next ❤ He ends the discourse talking about parshaad and its meaning.
