Video Description: Welcome friends to the 2nd day of our 3 day program in Brisbane. I am very happy to meet so many of my friends here. You all look like friends to me, part of the family to me because there is a close relationship with fellow travellers on the spiritual path. Being a co-traveller to same destination gives much closer than ones with our loved ones. Practical side of the spiritual path and possibilities of following the path. There are so many ways of doing meditation. The one I am following (after studying many other) for self realisation I call the Surat Shabd Yoga…yoga of the union of true self through the attachment of attention to the sound…to the sound current. Learn about our true home, we first need spoken language…therefore, this kind of sound is called varnantmak sound. It takes us within ourselves to discover what lies inside us and we switch spoken language with our tongue but it becomes a language we can use with our thinking mind..we can use the same language inside in order to withdraw our attention within. The truth lies within us therefore we have to go within and spoken language is taking us from tongue to mind and mind is used to repeat. Then comes mantra…simran…when you repeat them they serve a number of purposes. Since mind is scattered of thoughts for outer world…we can use certain words to repeat and we are able to then think less of outside things and concentrate what we are repeating with our mind. If words given by a mystic who has reacher higher level of consciousness…these words will have association with inside. We discover the words were helping us remember those inner experiences. That’s why simran are in a language that have reference to inside than outside. Words spoken words only have meaning what our association is with that ‘sound’. All words we use no matter what language the meaning for us are based up on ideas of something else. When these PLM they tell us these are words you should repeat…they having used those words for inner experiences they tell us to repeat and we do not know what words mean at that time…but has meaning when given to us. When we repeat words given to us by a PLM or a saint those words have been empowered with experience yet to come in our journey. In this world there are both negative and positive powers. These words can help push away negative entities. Here is a great use of sound of words at 2nd stage. There are still words in a language, but next step is even more important when no words are necessary and we turn from words to music. A music that is so melodious which extends beyond our normal listening and also lies inside us. By repeating words and withdrawing our attention by focusing inside and then that music starts and this now changes…sound is no longer spoken language but we listen to with our inner ears. Our attention needs to be not scattered outside.

12min- Our attention flows from the head…even brain surgeons have been able to identify area if we shine laser in point at the centre of the head that is the point where consciousness and attention starts and we become aware of our body. There is a space you can out attention so you can hear inner sound also. Meditation for our journey to true home start with struggle…by putting in our best effort because our mind doesn’t accept anything that we can get without struggle. We are so conditioned we put in our best effort…so this is a push mechanism but when the sound comes…it has a PULLING quality and gathers your attention to point behind the eyes. Therefore, that sound that cannot be written or spoken turn into dhunatmak (melody) shabd. It can pull you entirely out of your body where you feel this body does not exist…but you still exit…even more than this body! How is that possible? Because our eyes began to see more clearly than these eyes. All sense perceptions are completely embedded in the inner body. Inner body can have all experience and whole world changes because change to our own self. How do we reach there…by listening to the sound. So long we are aware of the physical body we are trapped here. We do not depend on any blind faith…but believe what you experience. It does not mean you disagree but believe when you come to it. On spiritual path we should have that attitude and our belief will be based on our own experience. All religions believe things that we do not experience…we have been told that belief system means you have to believe somebody else’s words, scripture…that is not true. You can get caught up as that is what blind faith is where somebody told you once…you have never grown in blind faith, where we accept this, period. Is there any growth in that? On the other hand, in true spiritual development every day your faith should increase with experience…living faith grows with living experience. This path is totally experiential, not theoretical. What happens after our attention is pulled inside…most people call that inner body soul. That is not the soul…its only a body. Soul is the power that make this body alive…its power of consciousness which makes conscious experience available to the body. We have only found an inner cover that is generating sensory experience for us. This physical body is creating material experience for us.

24min- If somebody has gone beyond that, only he can tell us…this is merely a body to gain experience with senses. How do we get experience of next body…we use same dhunatmak shabd…use that melody in the inner-body with inner-ears. You become unaware of the sensory body itself and you open up to a new body. The ability to perceive, think, rationalise is indeed a body covering the soul and soul is empowering the mind…it generates thoughts…and percolates to time and space. Its an amazing experience as it can be compressed into a non-time moment. Withdrawal of attention enables us to realise the thinking mind is just a machine which is empowered by our own consciousness. At casual self we can rise and have such experiences that we find mind in the head…was actually participating in single universal mind and we never left it and yet we thought we have an individuated mind which creates all experiences. When we reach that stage and discover that there is nothing that can tell us there is anything beyond (casual plane) as everything is in time and space. Mind cannot function outside it. Is there anyway to go beyond that? When the sound pulls you to that stage…it has no beginning, middle or end. You go to anhad shabd (no beginning or end). Here really we are still calling it sound…or call it unlimited infinite creative power that just because we can hear we call it sound…we call it anhad shabd. In border of Tibet he mentioned Monks there…on how they say Ommm….it gives us hint of the resonance which is a creative power…it resonates our own consciousness our life force which constitutes our true self.

34min- There are people that go beyond…called perfect living masters who have been perfection of the imperfection of these three worlds. He talked about John Lennon’s song “All of Me”. How do we go there? No amount of sound can pull you there…the resonance of the self becomes expression of the true nature of the soul…it can experience and express love. True love is originating from the soul…intuitive knowledge is function of a soul so is bliss. We feel these things here. True love is when you cannot think of the I at all and only think of the beloved. Very difficult to transcend the mind…we can do so with love and devotion. Love and devotion alone take us above the mind. God is Love because that is only way to cross the mind…therefore meditation that takes us above mind is love and devotion. In our experience…we experience love from one who has love and we respond to it with devotion. Love comes from source which has no conditions or judgements. Very few people who can express unconditional love…PLM have that love. There love pulls us…like sound does. They don’t pull our mind but soul. When we meet a person like that soul being pulled…soul cries out…mind say you can’t be sure as it creates doubt…automatically it creates fear…they come in the way…we override with pull that is coming. Therefore, doubts and fear…maybe this is voodoo stuff etc it brings all kinds of things. If the love is unconditional and real…we still want to follow in spite of the mind’s difficulties. This kind of experience does not happen with teachers.

45min- We are really tired…this is a mess and pretending to be happy…we are all unhappy and lonely…we are trying to beat our loneliness with skin deep relationships. When a person like us called PLM…he is so ordinary we can’t even know…his unconditional love pulls us. Then you say…I was waiting for this…overtime, that pull overrides us. This must comes from PLM to pull us…I mentioned yesterday…when a chela is ready…guru appears. We never find a master and master finds us via coincidences that when we are ready he appears around us and then we have a little suspicion maybe not maybe yes…unconditional love starts pulling us. Shabd creating the power is our own soul. First time you can say I have discovered who am I…and covers up on yourselves. Why do we have sense perception and astral body around us? The idea was to have an adventure of different experiences. All these experiences with soul in its own purity and mind creating casual plane with destinies recorded in Akashic records. All these experiences one experience unique experience of becoming a human being on physical plane. There are 8.4million species exist in the physical plane with angels and spirits…only that is unique…it has experience of freewill…I can decide this…it is for me to chose between alternatives. Angels know the futuer so they can’t decide but we don’t know…our ignorance is bliss that experience of able to decide is most wonderful gift given to only one specie…its good or bad thing? It cuts both ways…because of this ability to make choices…then you can divide your choices into good and bad. Then law of karma…we get rewarded and punished…what a remarkable trap to put consciosuness in physical body and have morale code. Its so amazing that we are using that was given as a gift to us…then what happens…karma law which we have created with our mind…if we made no choice we have no karma.

55min- You can’t make choice where you born, die its all predetermined. That is called kriyamana karma which is created by using freewill then we create we cant fill and goes to store house called sanchita karma. Its a big trap…how soul gets trapped into this. Its like we went to amusement park and settle down there. Why did we forget we are here temporarily? What happened to our memory of our true home? It was the curiosity nature of consciousness to experience reality not shadow on the wall but shadows that become real because there is no reality at all. We make reality therefore we did not make level of conciosuness to make level of illusions. To make something real you have to shut off the orgin. We go to sleep we dream…it looks real because we have no idea of the wakeful state then. Our only concept of reality here is the physical world. When we withdraw attention to astral world…physical reality disappears. At one time we only have one reality. So we prepared a way out…before we got into this reality…we made an arrangement when we are tired of experience which will enable us to wake up…what was that? When we take physical world real…an event should take place to awaken us …this is not real…because totality of conciosuness made the whole show. If we get tired there is a means to awaken to higher reality by appearance by coincidences of a perfect living master.

1hr2min- Somebody suggested me to see a movie called Inception where a man can dream within the dream. When I watched that movie I was very impressed. Time experienced in one level is different from other level. Totum in real world is the perfect living master…we have made the same arrangement. In movie they dreamt 3 times but here we doing so 6 times. What will happen if it is a dream…and through this process of being unaware of ourself via totum…get up and get awake…then we wake again and again and ultimately we find there was only one dreamer. Whole creation of many all is taking place because of one soul alone…when you have that experience once..he dicovers this is all a setup…there is no outside or inside place its just now and here where the whole show is staged…and that stage nothing else can be shut off and there both real and unreal were at the same time from consciosuness alone. A person achived that level is still un touch with all levels even on the physical plane. One able to find there are not many souls is Sathguru where one and many are simulatenously the same. He is indeed with the many-ness of the souls at all levels at all times. Such a person is a Perfect Living Master. PLMs when they give discourse to us…they are no maybe or perhaps but speak directly from experience…for such a person is constantly aware its a show taking place at all levels. His lanugage is different because he is not speaking from what he has read. Its a unique experience to even meet such a person who can speak from all levels simultaneously at the same time. The experience he talks about are his experience at all times. We go through whole path and ultimately with our seeking alone we find a perfect living master. But no master can take you beyond where he has gone therefore you may run into master up to where he has gone.

1hr13min- Supposing you say I am looking for more…if you are seeking is more you will get more. I will share with you a true story. There was an engineer Mr Trilok Chand in Burma (Mymar) he was a great seeker of the truth..and he was looking for every master he could find. Somebody told him in Madras there is a Swami who can give you the true knowledge. This man was a miserly person…spend it or not to spendt it…not to spend (hehehe). With this lifestyle he gathered Rs 30,000…very frugal about his spending. He went to Madras to meet the Swami. Amazing story of Trilok Chand met Great Master Sawan Singh Ji and a story within a story of King Janak, Ashtavakra. No effort with any master goes to waste…and what he did with Swami was part of the step. Therefore, no one should ever worry if I have a real master or not…therefore whichever master pulls you and takes you as far as you go …go. If your seeking is more then you will find more automatically.

1hr30min- Don’t worry about which master is right…if you feel pull inside for a master…follow him, simple. One person was pulled by two masters…congratulations people can’t find one you found two! This path can take us to highest level is an experiential path. You make use of it when you practise and see what happens. If you were initiated by a master you got the gift of finding way and you are doing it now that is successful meeting as our mind gets trapped into external obligations here. This catches our attention to unable to think of meditation! Baba Ji emphasises value of making priority of meditation as top which will help you fullfill your life destiny. You have to act well your role with your best skillful abilities. Set the priorities right. If you find a PLM and you discover where is he…he looks like a person outside…if outside is being created by us…he is just a shadow…if whole world is just a projection of our mind…of course he is…the person comes in our life is a projection of our mind like everything else. Where is he helping us from? Actually he is not there…he is inside us like everything else. How do we know this? Go within and checkout via meditation. When he initiates us…accepts us as his friend/ co-traveller…he manifests specficially inside the astral threshold of his disciple. True master is always inside…if we could see inside we don’t want to see anything outside. Real master travel with us is always inside…outside he is a human being like us…we die, he dies…he has limited abilities…he cannot give enough time to us. Truth is time is 24/7 if we look for master in reality inside. We call that form of master the radiant form of the master. It is manifested one you are intiated therefore he is always with you. Manifest AT LEAST radiant form of the master…talk to the master on a daily basis have that friendship and companionship…loneliness disappears forever. Why go alone and take the proper guide with us. Master almost say I am waiting for you at the airport…once you reach Master takes care as he has the ticket. Its the most remarkable experience you can have in the physical body with 24/7 companionship. Its a practical spiritual path…its an experiential path. I will pause at this time…we will have a little lunch break and when we reassmble at around 2:30 or 3:00 to see actual meditaiton on how to reach that airport to fly with the master ❤
