Welcome friends to this monthly meeting which is organised by ISHA. The purpose of these meetings is so that we can retrigger our journey on the spiritual path. Our minds being such we are often pulled away by these distractions. The spiritual journey is a continuous thing and not a casual thing that happens once in a while. If you want to have a sustained experience you have to keep it up on a daily basis. It is very necessary- my master Baba Sawan Singh used to write letters to people that momentum is necessary for spiritual practice…5 minutes a day and 5 minutes a night is good enough to keep the momentum. The reason why even 5 minutes high high-quality meditation can sustain your momentum is because meditation is not done for the sake of the exercise…its not a mechanical exercise but to remember the master…and even for one minute of memory…it continues….if you are passionate about love and devotion even little remembrance holds on. High-quality meditation means meditation done with love and devotion. Love does not come from the mind but from our soul actually from our true home and our soul represents love and devotion. For making true spiritual progress we need to work beyond the mind…all these bodies we have physical or body of our senses….these 3 bodies have limited time during which they stay with us and then they disappear. In time they all go away but the soul that uses these bodies has no birth or death…our true identity is the soul. Mind is a very powerful instrument we have…its a dangerous enemy if you don’t use it positively. Mind thinks, rationalises and keeps us tied up with the 3 levels and never have a chance to work out who we really are and our true home. So much so that we give the life force to the mind to make it work just like we do so for the senses, and physical body…its all our soul’s power. If the soul withdraws its power…all 3 die. Our natural activities are to experience love, and intuitive knowledge to appreciate beauty and bliss…that’s all the soul needs. When the show is over, we go back to our true home. The physical body creates a material world and experience of this physical world and we get so much trapped in this world…so attached and we take them as our only reality. We want to possess objects and people.

10min- When we die and we regret why did we spend so much time with these attachments…those very attachments pull us back and we keep on coming back again and again to people and things. We treat it as stage show…we will not have to come back again. Attachment to things here is almost obligated to come back…these souls trap the living minds and identify with the mind and they get attached to things they are attracted to and return over and over again. PLMs come to tell us these are not our people but merely to have experience and if we are tired to go back home and they tell us how to go back home. They are not here to improve the conditions…they do not come here to make us better people…they do not come found any religion they come for ALL seekers who want to go back home no matter what their religion, caste, creed, skin color, age or gender…they did not come for physical body or minds or judge what our karma is…they judge the seeking of the soul. When soul seeks to go back home…its tired of it I have had enough…your time only comes when innermost feeling says I have had enough. PLMs don’t care where the soul is….they come simply for that soul not for the mind, body etc. Mind divides itself into two sections- conscience, and other temptations. The conscience develops its values on society it’s born and constantly creates conflict in the mind. These PLMs don’t come to judge this…they know it is a trap. Even karma is a trap. When PLM sees us…they do not look at the body, karma they look at the soul…is the soul seeking to go back home…if yes they will accept us. By accepting us they become our friends… co-travellers back to the true home…they don’t come as teachers but as friends to take us back home because they have awareness of that path. PLMs are not superhuman beings…but ordinary humans like us…they are treated good and bad like us…they eat and drink like us… the only difference is in their awareness…are aware of the whole creation and the creator. They carry enlightenment in them at all times. They carry truth with them at all times…their consciousness is totally different from ours. In their ordinarness they catch us as true friendship is between ordinary people….you cannot be friends with supernatural beings. Friendship is prior to the relationship between Guru and Chela. If the master is not a friend of yours…he is no master. Master Ji talked about Hawaii 🙂

20min- No writings have taken anybody anywhere. Even what the book says we don’t apply that to the book and yet we think the book contains everything. In the Bible…most versions of them…latest one in this country is the 14th version (King James)- fortunately that book preserves the gospel of John….in the beginning was the Word…The Word was with God…The Word was God. Word preexisted God and yet we look in Columbia or Oxford Dictionaryt its meaning…it says Word means The Bible. How can that be? In Guru Granth Sahab…written by human beings…and yet they believed the book was now the guru…because somebody later added a phrase from now on that Granth to be the guru but none of the gurus said that at all. Guru is an ordinary human being take us into his guidance and take us back home. I studied 11 major religions in the world when I was in Harvard University to see something common between them. They all said there is one God. I said at least the religions accept something in common…only common thing I found was we are the only true religion other ones are false. We have divided ourselves…our mind is an analytical tool…synthesis comes from the soul…it can look at the big whole picture but the mind cannot. The mind functions the same way in spiritual knowledge and we end up dividing the great truth from gurus who attain awareness of the totality of consciousness. We have to understand that the spiritual path is not a religion…it has nothing to do with external but internal to discover who you really are. We ourselves as souls, which are units of consciousness, we are part of the totality and never separated from it…but we created an experience around us which created a sense of separation. We are now working in this experience but we are not separated…in most self of ours is still the totality. Everything is inside…the deeper you go inside the more you wil discover. These PLMs only teach us for the sake of our minds of how to go within…which we call meditation at the 3rd eye centre behind the eyes…that meditation is a starting point…still mechanical but what pulls us is our own totality with love and devotion. A true master is our own self inside us. He appears like ourselves and helps us to go within….he never says he is a PLM.

31min- Real power is inside you and not outside. If everything else is maya outside master outside is equally unreal as other experiences….the real guru is inside but the outside guru merely helps us with setting up experiences to take us inside. With his totality of consciousness, he is able to pick us up…we call it grant of the greatest blessing referred to as naam daan/ initiation it’s a promise master will be with you till we reach home ❤ Till we open our inner eyes that’s the journey we have to perform…small section to perform and after that, we are constantly in companionship with a guru that is why it’s important to know that a guru appears in our life as a friend. Mind is not interested in taking you inside but attached to pleasures outside. A guru must be one who can hold your hands and be your friend. I shared the story of Sheik Fareed who was a disciple if Sheik Qutbuddin. Amazing story. As seekers how do we find a master? The answer is simple…if we are talking of a human being whose consciousness is total he should be able to recognise us therefore the truth is when the seeker is ready master appears in life. How does he appear? Via coincidences 1000s of ways to appear….and he will follow the rules of creation and appear as a friend. His love has no judgement in it…there is no judgement and doesn’t bother if we are good or bad. That unconditional love only exist in one that have transcended the mind. Love is pulling your soul…mind thinks and doubts it. The love overrides the mind…then what happens…small coincidences happen…and immediately able to associate with new person we have met. Evidence began to mount both outside and inside. He becomes a friend inside and outside and these experiences add up. They build faith and faith is very important thing as that overrides the doubts of the mind. Faith can be of two types. Blind faith and Living faith. Stage by stage faith is the living faith. Its that which ultimately overrides the mind and these things began to happen after we had some association with PLMs. Only way to find him is to seek within ourself not outside. Wait and see the show to discover who the master is a great experience in life. No meditation can pull you faster than meditation of love and devotion.

42min- Meditation to become qualitative is meditation where you talk to your friend inside that is meditation! Merely repeating words is not meditation. These are mechanical devices to prevent you from thinking of other things. It helps to squeezing out words of thoughts by words of your choice. These words won’t take you far but love and devotion will do so. Meditation should be done with love and devotion. The spiritual path is not just a leap but a leap into several experiences and each one raises your level of consciousness…what determines how far you will go is the seeking in your heart. I tell you a little story…once a gardener was planting little plants. A young man passed by and looked and said Mr Garnderner you are putting little plants here there are all around the weeds…the weed will eat up the plant food. Gardner said…I have planted it before and I know there are weeds and weeds will eat most of the food but the plant wil keep on growing and weeds do not grow but plant grows big…and these weeds will die under the shadow of the plant. Garnder is the guru and he is planting seeds in our heart…around are weeds i.e. are our worldly desires….sometime he feeds those so our ideas of idea of his competency based on what’s around us…our faith grows…but when plant of love grows to a point where its overwhelming everything….all the desires disappear and they are like weeds destroyed. These PLMs they know our nature where we are and feed exactly what we have… the spiritual path is not a set of instructions its customised for each one of us. We are all different in our karmic pattern…PLM sees that patterns and takes us back home according to where we stand and what we need to do. PLM can give very different instructions to two different people. Instructions are only to take us to the truth. Master Ji shared the story of GM with a man coming he said master this girl is my daughter and she just passed high school and wants to go to college…he said what’s the difference between girls and boys..go put her in college. Thank you, master… the girl is happy and they go. Then within 5 minutes, another comes with his daughter…and says the same thing…master says girls have no role in education marry her….within 5 minutes master changes his mind? No…he could see karma for those two girls. It’s a customised path for each of us. They function like ordinary people and only by association with these people we can discover who they are…we are pulled right from day one if we are seekers. This conflict between mind and soul is a continuous thing as we hide soul behind the mind.

52min – If you rely more on intuitive knowledge… than the thinking part you will be more spiritual. When we go with our thinking…mind can only function on what knowledge and decides upon that. That is why the intuitive self the soul takes care of the whole picture. Intuition followed by something happening outside also….via coincidence. The coincidences happen outside to match the gut feeling inside. This is a remarkable life how these things change. Once on the path these events increase in number and keep on happening. Its a personal relationship of true love with other human being and that is what makes us go beyond the mind. Don’t do meditation mechanically but put love and devotion…that will increase the value of that meditation. I know some people have come for first time…we will have a lunch break and after that, I will see some people. We give this blessed food parshaad…and why not start them on monthly meeting also.
