Welcome friends, I am happy to see you all again here. Yesterday, I mentioned way to our true home lies within us. Therefore, meditation is a technique…it is to meditate on what is within…we meditate upon outside things. Meditation for spiritual benefit means meditating upon your own inner self. That is why its important to know where is our inner self. If our attention is scattered outside, it takes time to go within. If you practise over time and become less and less attached to outside things, you will be able to go within in a nanosecond. Till you reach that stage, you have to keep on practising. Withdrawal of attention is not the same as focusing attention. All our life we have been taught to focus but not withdrawal of attention to our own self. True meditation is when you withdraw attention to your own self. The sound becomes louder…its coming from your core…surat shabd yoga…only happens when you are pulling attention to your own self….observing things. I want to take you through simple exercises before doing meditation today. Master Ji started with the orange-juice experiment. This is to demonstrate imagination and attention are in your control and you can operate them how you like. Now we do another exercise we will close our eyes and imagine that you are sitting in the middle of the head…sitting in the chair…next to you is a little table there is a drink, a bunch of flowers, and a plate with your favourite snack. After you imagine that I will give you instructions. How many were you able to see the flowers, change colours, unique flowers…smell them….recall the smell…you were able to use your sense perception with none of these objects present. Imagination was employed to create the thing but sense perception was not imaginary. It tells you sense perception are not confined to this body at all.

12min- Physical, astral and causal worlds are created for experience. Now let us do meditation (live meditation). The method is simple first step go back to that chair inside…how many of you sat there without thinking of things outside…we continue to keep thinking of other things and it requires practice.

23min- To cross the mental region you will require your master/ guru who has given you something and made you a devotee of that person. That makes it easy…if you don’t that’s more difficult but you can only reach the mental level…to go beyond love and devotion for someone who lives like ourself is not only necessary but useful. Now we will do meditation with love and devotion and not merely mechanical exercise. Eventually, you will find a master who will do all the meditation for you and you watch. Let’s try now…there is only one room for meditation in the head. In that well-decorated place go back there…have your beloved sit and chat and repetition should go on. Express your love and devotion you can with your beloved. Close your eyes and go back there. Have a wonderful experience repeating words…lights should be roaming around you…stay in the centre more experience will come. Invite your beloved and have a chat. How many of you could do this successfully? Meditation should become enjoyable, particularly if you bring in your beloved. The process is simple but not easy due to the huge baggage of attachments and guilt. How many of you would like to fly in the sky? I will have another session with you and tomorrow you can fly astrally. If you can fully discover who you are…that you are not the body or sense perception or thinking mind but power that makes these alive.

If you find yourself, you will find your creator.

33min- We take reality at physical level as the only reality. What we call love is such a powerful thing as it can pull without our effort. When you meet a PLM and recognise who he is…it takes time to recognise….otherwise he is like us…more words, learned. These are natural abilities given to us inside us but only when the time is right…means pre-determined, that when I had enough experience that becomes the right time…at that time ordinary person comes across your life and you get unusually touched…you find some kind of a love…as you associate more and more you will discover not what he looks like and eventually you will find he is everything and becomes your best friend. We don’t want to make friends with spirit and ghosts…friendship is with a human being that is so strong we can share everything. Overtime we discover who the friend is…when we meditate…he was a friend inside. He knowns the entire way…in light you will see the image of same human being inside…we call that the radiant form of the master. Our attention is what it depends on…once we can hold that attention that friend will be with us at all time…forever. Forever means really forever i.e. not just for this lifetime but till we reach our true home. Nobody can ever be lonely again. PLM carriers with him awareness of all the levels…its awareness that makes him different and so when he talks to us he talks from where we are. This ability of ordinary human being to play different roles…if you are close enough to watch such a person you will be amazed with different caps he wears. He knows us better than we know ourself. Its a rare experience to meet such a person. My master used to say there are more gurus than chelas. Gurus running around making money…carrying out the business of mastership. PLM never charges anything for his teachings. He has come to give not to take. He works, earns and does his own job like we do. He may help in collecting funds for holding meetings, and logistical events but nothing for himself. For the people, he can do anything even go around begging but not for himself. Secondly, his friendship and love is unconditional. How come he ignores our weakness because he knows the karmic trap we are in which is creating those weaknesses. That is why his love and compassion never ends. He does not have to perform any magical miracles in front of you but will perform so in his private life. He will never say I am a master…why should he say that….his job is to take us back. Such people we call PLMs are extremely rare, but seekers of true home they are not rare. He comes to take you back home, period. That’s why its a difference between such a person and so many other masters around us.

45min- People say we can go and test a master by these means…and a friend of mine said I am going to test a master who you say is a PLM. He went came back and said he is not a PLM. I saw him reading a newspaper 🙂 Later on he found he was reading a newspaper like an ordinary person but do so to be ordinary like us. But love overpowers our doubting mind. Our mind is created to create doubts..its natural. Master Ji shared story of an intellectual person felling into a well…really goofy story. ITs good to be sceptical and overcome it with proof but to remain that way what do you get out of it. There is a certain point in the investigation. As faith grows with experience is living faith…most religions are surviving on blind faith. You can belong to any religion…this is to discover your ownself. The founders have said the same thing but followers are not doing the same thing. Another goofy story master ji shared of a guy trying to fall off the bridge having a conversation with another guy who is trying to help him. The Word….God and Word are one….and he puts Word ahead of God in the opening sentences of John’s Gospel. I also read Rig Veda it says in the beginning was the naard…sound was the creator and sound created everything almost a translation of John’s Gospel. In Islamic literature says the same thing …bagyaa aasmanni…sound from the sky is calling you. How come they are using these words not creative power? All using a word means something that can be heard…answer is very simple if you meditate…ultimate consciousness is the total creative power that created everything including itself but yet in a physical body, it can be heard inside us as sound…its audible. In the dictionary, The Word means The Bible. We confuse ourselves because a Word has been used same thing is happening all over we are looking at scriptures in a totally different way. We try to create separate religions and belief systems…we separate again and again. The greatest separator of all is our own mind. The mind divides and does with a process called analysis…its analytical in nature…to understand something break it.We want to break concepts to understand them. The mind doesn’t understand anything without breaking it. Soul sees the big picture…I often said if you have a nice painting, it feels good. We cut up by time and space….they are like scissors cutting our experience into pieces if you put whole life together it will be perfect. This whole approach via mind and soul are different. That is why these PLM says true spiritual path is one that takes you above the mind where you discover who you are. In my very first meeting in 1962 in this country someone asked me to speak in a church…someone asked me why did we leave….I said we never left but lost the awareness and the spiritual path is not travelling somewhere but regaining awakening of where we are. This path is to awaken us to our own reality. Someone asked me to write a chapter on the spiritual path I followed. Master Ji’s answer was chapter will be just one word…Love ❤ 🙂

1hr2min- Experience of love is the spiritual path but do not mistake attachment to be love. Love does not require any effort part of the ego. When I have to be used to express love it’s an ego trip. Master Ji quoted a quote in Farsi about how Love first arises in the heart of the beloved. If love somebody you would constantly be thinking of the beloved. The sign has to come from there that is why when we are pulled by love…things happen…sometimes I think PLMs are big diplomats. Master Ji shared the funny and very good story of Swami Brahmanand who lived in Karachi. Ishwar Ji’ uncle and aunt lived in Clifton Beach. PLM encourages us to go within and not follow him outside. These are deep subjects and there is so much in them. Ego comes in the way of humility which is required to be successful on this path.
