Video Description: He talked about need for imagination for good quality meditation. We feel we are actually sitting in the head…this body is a house with six-floors (aka chakras). He referred to someone asking him a question regarding a talk Baba Ji gave on 25th Feb. 2012 (Minutes 53-57). He explained that part of the talk in Hindi ❤ (He is sooo sweet!). He laughed a little bit after giving a small segment of discourse in Hindi.

We identity ourselves as consciousness as a being sitting behind the eyes…its always a good idea to consider body as house with many floors. Process of withdrawal of attention is similar to withdrawal to sleep as in both cases we become unaware of our body. But in meditation we don’t want to go to sleep! We do not go below the eye-center i.e. point behind the eyes where we are automatically operating from our wakeful state. We actually begin to believe our body is a place where we are…then we lose the sense of it being the head…once we are there its OK! We can grow a garden of flowers, we can have anything happening there.

Fix ourselves in the head BEFORE we start meditation

Let the thought be converted into the words. Until then make the mind listen to the words we are saying. Repeat the words slowly and listen to them…when we listen the mind gets attached to them. It needs practice and understand WHY we are doing it. Do it like an experiment scientific way. What is preventing us to knowing who we are? It’s our mind…it thinks of everything but ourselves. The whole control in meditation is of our mind.

PLM tell us they can do ANYTHING for us. We don’t have that kind of faith and that includes meditation also. There are many stages of simple things like doing simran.

The meeting also had question and answers (Q&A) session. Some Q&A topics included- karma, attachments, shakey Pizzas, parenthood, hans-bans, attention, awareness, consciousness. He emphasized on value of physical plane which has feeling of free-will. God has real-free will, humans have EXPERIENCE of free-will. There is an overlap when we die we are in that over-lap where we have all other experiences of ghosts and spirits. These are astral bodies but caught up in the physical world.

Maximum Simran take us is to the Astral plane.

If the words of initiations are charged there is an associated created with those words with inner experiences. Language is a very poor communication tool sometimes unspoken language is better. He gave tips on how to improve simran (repetition of words) and form it into a habit.

The beauty of having a PLM in life is having a perfect friend. He talked about Ford Motors sponsoring him for his Harvard education. He shared a cute and goofy story of meeting Satsanghis who were with him the university where Baba Ji met someone at the airport. He had satsang in Veteran Memorial Hall on how Ishwar Ji being stage nervous to American audience spoke what he could speak. This was early experiences with American seekers. The truth is if we let Master do things he will do things for us ❤ Credit always belong to the Master. He shared story of few blind people who are trying to find the door…morale of the story was we get found with strange coincidences.

Mind reasons soul has intuition

Intuitive knowledge that comes to us comes to us in a very strange way as a ‘gut feeling’. This comes from the soul. A coincidence also happens outside to match that feeling. More intuitive knowledge comes to us more coincidences happens. It is very difficult to recognize a master because PLM will not say he is a master (he doesn’t need to), he will not demonstrate as he wants to be like a ordinary person as friendship is very essential part of this relationship. Master also has to come to level of disciple-he will be exactly so a disciple can relate to him/her as a friend.

Relationship between light and darkness is beautiful. Light is what exists...darkness does not exists. The absence of light is the other. 

The whole screen becoming white is a good sign of spiritual development. He talked about pranayama yoga. Below eyes have energy centers in this physical world. He talked about a scientist in California on breathing exercises (holotropic breathwork) with a practitioner who was attending this discourse in this video. We talk of word separation as negative thing….no exercise is possible without separation as we are separated from Totality which is what makes us seek. He talked about a couple that divorced and married each other 3 times. They asked Baba ji the reason for this where married life is different from separation and dating. Marriage is also fastest way to pay of karma.

Non-initiates see at time of death see the whole synopsis of their life and where it is leading them and they can see the karma of this life is creating events for the future. Family of those initiated are initiated in due-course…up to 7 generation will benefit/ affected by that. For initiates, death is not kind of experience we think of…if we do meditation..it’s like death hence referred to as dying while living. He shared story of parrots of and Indian businessman going to Africa and who took one of the parrots home. Once we have experienced dying while living…we are then not afraid of death.

He spoke about Hans and Bans to mention about souls coming to physical plane for an adventure, also about marked-souls who, when ready, are picked up by Master. The dissolution (pralaya) or grand-dissolution (mahapralaya) is also mentioned in this talk. What is ‘forever’ it is a concept. Where there is no time, what is forever? It does not exist where soul belongs. Marked-souls is marking/ list of the PLMs “manual”. He shared so many secrets he didn’t want to reveal but does 🙂

We cannot convenience anyone of against their will but you can share information. Spiritual thing is very personal thing therefore make use of it. But never try to force into it as when their time right…they will pick up 🙂 He spoke about Grace…it is a powerful factor…it flows all the time and cup analogy. Cup is the cup of attention! To experience Grace turn our attention towards it and cup will get filled 🙂 Attention is most marvelous thing as it can take us back home. It allows us to focus on something…it is a secret weapon. Everything comes for a benefit even if we do not understand at that time.

He spoke about EST (Erhard Seminars Training) started by Werner Erhard who also came to India which Baba Ji attended (ironically Dr. Hawkins also attended it…wow!). He was however very strict (can’t go to toilet hehehe…). His theory was to get something valuable we pay a price.

When people ask for money for spirituality not a good sign…spiritual teaching is not a business. Masters come as givers not takers. He spoke about Kabir as an example who worked as a weaver. He shared a story of king and cobbler and another story of king Janak. He mentioned briefly on iPhone.

Finally he shared a story of a man who loved going to a church where pastor had two parrots 🦜🦜 🙂
