Video Description: Welcome friends, satsanghis, brother, sisters all of us who are on the same spiritual path. I will say few words in English and then in Hindi/ Punjabi. I have come here just to share with you my experiences with a param satguru (perfect living master)- Hazur Maharaj Sawan Singh Ji. He gave me naam in 1936 on 9th of March. A few days ago I celebrated my 79th anniversary. I think that was the most important day of my life ❤ Naam daan is not a method of teaching us how to meditate, that we can learn even from books or other people doing the same thing. We can learn from advanced satsanghis also. We don’t need a guru to tell us this..when you get initiation from a PLM it is a complete change of your destiny. We are here to pay off our karma…get rewarded and punished for good and bad things. We have been trapped into cycle of karma for so many lifetimes but initiation means the end of that cycle.We see some people who are blind when they go inside to find out…a story of a king who was blind…he saw 100 lives he did anything to be blind and his master told him look further back in 106th life he took someone’s else’s eyes out! All this reservoir karma is called Sanchita karma. Getting initiation that sanchita karma is burnt right away therefore you cannot have any future life based on the reservoir karma. But that’s not the biggest thing…that is PLM comes from sachkhand our true home which is beyond the mind…and since when he sits here in the ordinary human body..he is not really sitting here his awareness is above in sachkhand at all times. They do not come back to tell stories but they are in all the planes at all times because we as seekers as truth…we go step by step. The physical world has to be shut down to experience astral world same as being unaware of physical body when we dream. At one time we can only have one reality. When we go higher up to causal plane…at that time that is the only reality. So as we rise on the spiritual path all of us have only one reality. But PLM have reached Sachkhand…all these things are happening there and whole creation is from there. One who has reached there is constantly in all these regions. Somebody asked me in America once….why did we leave our true home? He was surprised when I gave the answer…I said we never left our home but we are have lost the awareness. This world we living in is like a dream within a dream (6 times). I don’t like movies as so many violent, sad things and I cry a lot. My children carry hanker-chief. A movie called Inception a person can go to sleep and have a different experience. What struck me was that when you have 10minutes dream in physical body 1st dream looks like 1hr…2nd dream looks like 50years…that means time expands. In America I joined a class to study sleep and dream in the 1960s…a big subject there.

13min- They would put cameras in front of the eyes, electrodes and ECGs put all kind of equipment and study what happens when you go to sleep via rapid eye movement to see and photograph and see this person is dreaming now. Time person is spending in dream is more than actual dream in the wakeful state. The Star Trek Next Generation “Inner light” example being shared. In our true home there is no time its a state of bliss. I was surprised to see this hall is called Bliss hall also ❤ As we dream further into astral plane…space and time. In one instant in Sachkhand we create millions of years. We are at the 6th level of dreaming and caught up in idea of law of karma we are trapped here forever. There is no forever in our true home. Therefore, when we wake up we are awake to discover its all a dream and all these methods to awaking up 6 times. In that movie one very interesting thing…when people went to sleep they arranged how to wake up..they carried a little totem…so that that sharp point can be felt when they pressed it because of pain…they woke up. Therefore the method in that movie to wake up if movie is not too good and go to state of wakefulness …we have made the same arrangement in this life…our totem is the PLM ❤ We made this arrangement. We decided when we are fed up of this experience we are creating…inside and outside are the same. The physical world is coming from the inside ultimately everything is coming from the inside. Who we call PLM will also be inside but we cannot see inside as we see darkness when we close our eyes. Therefore, what arrangement we have made inside expresses itself in the experiences we are having outside. That is why true master is inside us not outside but his reflection is outside in form of human self. There is a reason why master looks so ordinary…the reason is method to go back to true home depends on what we have in true home without the mind and body as these are local things. Meditation to repeat words to listen to sound is a physical exercise because what will take us beyond is what exists above the mind. Sensory use of seeing tasting are only in astral and physical self. It must be something that exists there that is Love and Devotion. Therefore the spiritual path is only love and devotion…in our true home nothing else counts.

23min- Nobody has gone to Sachkhand by meditation at all…its only via Guru Bhakti…love and devotion. Therefore, true spirituality is made up of what’s beyond these things (mind-related). We are meditating doing simran, getting naam daan, vegetarian or not- this is to satisfy our mind as that is only thing coming in the way and our totality. So we have to somehow deal with this terrible wall- it keeps on thinking all the time. It creates doubt- its never sure. Doubting is good otherwise we’ll be on blind-faith! But by creating doubt it becomes wall also as it creates fear. We are afraid of things that don’t even exist. Once I did a seminar why people are afraid or what are they are afraid of. Most of things will never happen. We are afraid of which we don’t know. I told in that seminar to write down 10 things you are afraid of…not even 1 in 10. So reason we are afraid is we are ignorant. You are very good actors…you forgot you are an actor. They made a movie Gandhi…and a British actor acted like Gandhi in that movie. For 6 months I did not let them shoot the movie so I can feel I am Gandhi. Our thoughts are all pre-written but we think its not acting but real life and therefore this is a big debate we create is everything prewritten or are we deciding now? The truth is we cannot know whether its prewritten or not unless we find where it is prewritten. When I was in college in America a friend of mine, great scholar and phoned me I found out that we have no freewill on theological grounds. All scriptures tell us he is all knowing, in everything and all powerful. If you believe there is a God does he know what you are going to decide…if he doesn’t he is defaulting his own definition. Therefore, just on this consideration, all religions have said God knows all…how can I decide something that God does not know. If he knows then there is no freewill. I tried to play a little trick with him. When he came will you take coffee, tea or nothing. Since you have no freewill how will you decide. I am going to prove to you that no matter what you have freewill. When we make a choice what is it that makes us that choice. 2 kinds of factors- one is genetic (maybe your father liked coffee, maybe the genes) and second is environmental you might have stayed with people used to having coffee. But remember one thing when I asked you coffee or tea…these two things are totally fixed…you cannot change your genetic makeup or where you have been. It is only a feeling of making choice. Scientifically we find what we think our choice is predetermined. Question is can one actually know one’s future. I had an experience in Sardar Ji when I was trying for job in Navy…one sardar Ji said Good luck to me. I said why are you speaking in English and not Punjabi ❤ Amazing story…even way we think and what we will do is prewritten.

40min- Suppose we know whole life is prewritten- then we will live our life like a movie but we always expect change. When we go to a movie we forget that its just a shadow nothing real….just pictures…shadows being created from a film which is behind us. Its predetermined/ preshot everything is behind. We say what will happen next, we cry why do we do that? We laugh, joy, jump off our seat…its all shadows and we are effected so badly by it. Must be reason we forget its just a movie. There is a reason for it….that reason was spelt out by an old Greek philosopher Aristotle…it is necessary in our life to have and watch drama. We have excessive emotions in us and to release them we need to identify with something to release our emotions. That is what we do now.. He says there is a willing suspension of disbelief. There was a school in Hushiyarpur…when I was in a school…villager saw a movie had a scene a girl comes to have a bath and when she was able to jump in a train comes in…by time train comes girl is in the pond…he went to the movie 20 times hoping train will be late one day. This is not a theoretical thing we can go and see where the script is and movie was shot. We can see how we decided to have this movie, this hall of life and that is possible via type of meditation which we call withdrawal of attention behind the eyes.

44min- The truth is lying inside our body and if we withdraw inside we can see how the movie was shown…whole life changes…one glimpse is enough to see not only how movie was shot but why they picked up this life…there are some good and a lot of bad things. It is not like that…we picked up the very balanced movie…to be human experience it was necessary to pick up that DVD, that Prarabdha, that destiny. Now life can be here without karma. We picked up one life which had notional life to create this life. Past life was not real but became our memory…there are infinite past and future lives. At the level of the mind (casual mind)- karan-shareer…there we cause all these things to happen. These records we picked up one what we are playing out now is life here. Go there and see. If we have will to change it that means we picked up own life..why picked up life with ups and downs? In comfortable life we went to heaven..its boring..no way to escape from there…then we picked up the opposite..all bad things happen before we go to true home…only way which can take us back home is human life where you have good and bad combination. Every human life has ups and down. Why it looks worse is because our sense of time passes very quickly when good things happening. Suffering creates an extension of time and pleasure it shortens time…time is equal. In human body we have choice to ‘make’ freewill…its actually a choice. That is why human life where we have experience of choosing something is the highest life. There are so many forms of life, all have the same souls including the Gods and creators of the universe have the same soul…and we in our ignorance have choices where we experience we can follow a spiritual path. I went to the place where lord Krishna was born and where he lived…I wanted to see has he left any imprint of knowledge where he lived so long. I went to a small village…in the evening they would gather together and sing happily even though they were so poor. They were singing praise of Krishna. One song was on Krishna talking to his friend Udho.

Secret of going successfully to your true home lies in the capacity to seek.

54min- Karma is a strange thing even if you become the creator of the universe but soul being tied up is not free from karma and you can do so if you go beyond the mind. Even if you get recycled into any form of life you keep on recycling. One reason is that the law of karma does not have any scope for atonement. If you do something good or bad you get rewarded or punished…your mind’s conscience decides what you will get. Different countries have good and bad morality. There are desires and temptation..that creates attachment. You create karma..and when you do good you are rewarded and bad punished. So much so that you can have a very bad thing you have done to justify hell for one month and a very good justify heaven for one month. There is no way to cancel it… the only way to escape from it is to get out of it. Mind is holding us unless you can go beyond the mind. Thinking is never soul but the mind…soul is gives it power to make it alive. Mind is a computer…you don’t become the computer. Not only that mind can use for expanded experience and sense perception and we think that is me. On top physical body,…body is me. 3 big blunders in order to get trapped. We identify with the mind, sense, and this body. That part from even beyond parbraham is true spirituality and ends in sachkhand. You are aatma and knowing you are a part of parmaatma. These PLMs don’t pull us with their teachings but with their love. We get that feeling of love and devotion and it is so strange because there is no reason for it. We call attachment as love but satguru’s love is unconditional, no expectation and it is a strange experience to have it. They don’t come to judge us the mind does that. I remember an incident where a man comes to GM and say please forgive me…I made big mistakes, I drank alcohol, I ate meat last night, I did everything bad…please forgive me…we were all horrified. GM he said I forgive you now and don’t do it again…man says thank you thank you and ran away. Suppose he does it again…GM said I will forgive him again. Master when will you punish him…let me remain in the side of forgives and the biggest punisher is mind itself. Remember that was a big lesson for me…PLMs are ALWAYS forgiving. They know our weaknesses its an amazing experience to have with these people and yet they act like ordinary people like us. We cannot experience love if they are not ordinary.

1hr6min- If we can meet master as friend that is why PLMs have always come in same form as the disciples are…if they come for more than one disciple…they will act rich with rich one and poor with poor one. Naam daan guarantees they will be our friends to take us back to our true home. They are friends first and guru next. Its a great business for being a guru…they can make a lot of money…they are also useful to some extent but not friends who will take us to our true home. Some gurus can help you get inner experiences and are very good masters…but only a few can take you to creativity where the creator of 3 universe is but one who can take you beyond cycle of birth is extremely rare. You can count them on the fingers of your 2 hands. How can we find them? The answer is…we cannot find them. The truth is if you are a seeker of your true home…if you come across a guru and you are not satisfied you will automatically have a guru find you…by coincidence. The secret is in the seeking in your heart.

1hr22min- Back in English 🙂 I also understand there is a break with snacks. I will spending these 3 days with you and I will be coming to India again next month and plan to visit Bangalore. How do we understand that we are ready to get initiated…firstly when we are tired of this world. Secondly, when there is a feeling there is our true home we want to return to, thirdly we meet someone who is pulling us by our true love then we are ready. No one can become vegetarian to go to Suchkhand but in meditation particularly diet helps. And a guru can determine if you are ready. How can I conquer my mind? That’s main subject of my talks…short answer would be that soul never fails…this is a function of mind and body. On the spiritual path, there is an obstacle in front of us and that is our mind. We can cross this obstacle with many methods. What bothers us in our head is our thinking mind. Simran helps and we also put bigger attachments which is possible because PLM pulls us with his love…we do his dhyaan and make him manifest inside and later we can do so without closing eyes. So many different stages we can overcome our mind. In the beginning, we have to fight. We have no enemies in this world… the enemy is sitting inside not outside. How to handle mind…know how to be tactful by ignoring the mind, say mind you follow that I will follow this…use the mind to divert the mind. After initiation, your guru will tell you how to handle the mind. Unless we are able to progress with mind, we cannot make a journey…we always have problem with our mind. I get 300 emails every day nowadays and many are on this topic of handling the mind. Pure unconditional love of the master pulls you and make you forget the mind…it is a path of love and devotion. Someone asked a question in Hindi. To answer in briefly , you cannot know who is your guru unless you go in. Outside it is easy for a person to behave same way as a guru do because difficulty is these PLMs have never said they are gurus. They claim they are the servants of the servants. People who declare are not gurus.

1hr36min- Whoever claim they are more than you are separating themselves and whats separate us is only our mind. Game of separation was created for experience of this world. We can only find out no matter how much we practise…when you are able to check out inside then you know you have a guru. But I am not saying that till you have experience don’t even follow. I am saying follow any guru that says go within and go as far as he can take you and automatically in your life a person will come who will pull you manifest and meditation his form will appear and take you further. Ultimately perfect guru only comes from inside. The other day I had a chance to share the story of my friend in Ludhiyana who was a disciple of my GM…he got naam daan from Sawan Singh Ji. He has a good big house…I brought my American friend and seeker there and a Satsang was going on…we stood there…master recognized us and called us. We went inside and there was number of my old friends there they began to ask me different questions. Amazing story Master Ji shared about his guru-bhai Hira Singh Ji. When you meditate put image of your guru in front of you, talk to him and worship him inside, he is your friend sitting inside…have a conversation…before you do any meditation have a conversation…repeat the words of simran.

1hr45min- Have a good passionate conversation with him, express your love and devotion for him. It should not be a mechanical exercise. There was a friend in San Francisco..I was a very tired long journey…very good Ishwar Puri…let’s meditate together…to keep up appearance…I was so tired but had no choice but okay 3am meditation…we sat down eyes closed…I could not meditate…from time to time I will open my eyes…by chance every time he was looking at his watch. The meditation was on your watch as we never put our attention inside. You were trying to cover 2.5 hours…you can spend hours closing your eyes but no meditation but 5 minutes of meditation with total focus on your guru…is far more valuable than 8hrs meditation. Baba Ji stated a quote by Kabir. I came back after 6 months to my friend in Ludhiyana…he made far more progress with internal experiences that he could not in 40 years! Love and devotion is what can put our ego behind us…otherwise, in everything we do our ego is in front. When you are in love you forget yourself and think of the beloved. This is a path of love and devotion…not effort…it is effortless. Baba Ji shared a short story about Sheikh Fareed and Sheikh Qutbuddin and the value of getting initiation by a living master.
